Hi Tim,

I  grew Melianthus comosus from Kirstenbosch BG seed three years ago. I
tried one plant outside  in the winter of 97/98 but it died. This  year  one
has survived outside with a  bit of  horticultural  fleece over it  on the
coldest  nights . It's a less impressive  plant than M. major, with  pale
green leaves , but it  too  has a  horrible  smell. If you want a  bit to
add to  your  collection, let me know!
