I am interested in finding a source for this plant or it’s seeds in the UK or
seeds from further afield.
I have a small garden planted in the Mediterranean style in Sydenham which is
in South London. I think this plant will contribute it’s pine like smell to
the mixture of scents of the other aromatic herbs , plants and trees that I
grow. It is also called “yellow bugle” or “ground pine”. I first came
across it in Rethimnon in Crete. Where it grows between the coast road and
the sea, near the entrance to the old harbour and again in Turkey on the
stoney verges of the South Western coast roads where it’s scent combined with
that of Summer Savory to perfume the evening air.
