Re: "Golden Oak of Cyprus"
Hi Nancy,
I just live up-Island from you, at Nanoose Bay.
I've been drooling over the Golden Oak for years but never come across a
source. The young leaves are covered with hairs on top and the leathery
leaves are felted underneath. The acorns look spectacular, long and
slender to 1 and 1/4 in. The good thing is that male and female
flowers are borne spearatelly on the same plant.
If you can possibly get some acorns, I would be grateful for one or two.
Does anyone on the list know a source?
