RE: Eleaocarpus australis

I don't find that scientific name for Elaeocarpus. Could you check your original source?

Subject: Eleaocarpus australis

I have been given a seedling with the name Eleaocarpus australis denticulata.  I don't find any reference on the internet to  E.australis, and my library sources are limited.  Does anyone know anything about this plant?  It is supposed to be hardy in San Francisco (where it rarely freezes) and produce long lasting blue fruits.
