Salvia muddle

Talking of salvias, I was given S. x involucrata 'Mulberry Jam' earlier this 
year.  I believe it features in Betsy Clebsch's book under this name.  It 
seems no longer to be listed in the RHS Plant Finder (though the online 
version brings up 'Mulberry Wine').  I have two questions.  Is Mulbery 
Jam the valid name i.e. the first to be published, or is the true name 
Mullberry Wine?  (Or are there two salvias with similar names?) 
Secondly are these hybrids of S. involucrata and another species or 
plain involucrata?
