David, I was interested to see your reference to bacopa re: underplanting of
roses (btw, I have found lavender and herb robert to be most satisfactory)
I purchased 2 bacopa plants from a young man at the santa cruz farmers market
last fall/winter and have been very pleased with them. He told me he thought
that they belonged to the nettle or deadnettle family, but neither of us could
find reference to it in our sunset gardening books.
Do you know what family it is in?
