Thanks to Nick and Hugo for the suggestions. I
rather doubt the jacaranda?? but the araujia seems distinctly feasible - and
*more* feasible as something I could grow here, supposing the seeds germinate.
As for the Ricinus - although I've grown it in the past I confess I've forgotten
what the seeds look like. Will try to find a source which tells (and if possible
shows) me, and see if it matches what I have. But on the face of it, it seems a
distinct possibility.

cold and bright and blue, but my more tender plants go on flourishing
and flowering anyway...
