(no subject)

I live in Santa Monica, Ca. Several years I bought two 15 gallon Phormium 'Dark Delight' with black leaves. The plant was thriving until last summer when leaves began reverting to green. Now it looks more like a generic Phormium than 'Dark Delight'. Should I remove most leaves? Will fertilizer help? I don't fertilize. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
