 them to the olive-mill<g>.  Quite an operation to do at home, I'd say!  The old
 way was to grind the olives under a stone wheel, running round in a trough, for
 about 2 hours.  The mash was then scooped into coir sacks shaped like large
 berets and piled up under a press.  This 'first pressure' oil is by far the bes
 and not to be compared to the shop product! Small one-man mills do exist,
 however, otherwise I can't see how you would be able to mill your olives.  Eric
