They certainly are! I assume they originated in England, so am surprised
that you haven't had them before now. They are a useful bee as they keep
working in the winter, but they are too big to fly through the bird netting
on our soft fruit cage to pollinate the strawberries! Their hives don't get
very big, maybe 200-300 individuals, but they are a big bee so each gets a
lot of work done.

Gay, the one thing I can depend on is that what you write will NOT bore me!
Please keep it up.
I haven't spent much time at Medit-Plants recently, it seems, but did manage
to look at the first two of your pages on the web (I'll get round to the
third one day soon, honest). Wonderful stuff. Reading it gave Melanie and I
a strong sense of deja-vu, although there are obviously differences. I
started writing a 'book' about our experiences a few years back and keep
adding to it every few months as a sort of diary before I forget the detail.
Don't suppose it will ever go beyond these four walls, although my parents
in England got to read a good chunk a couple of years ago. Perhaps one day
we will have grandchildren who might like to find out how 'Raindrops' got
started. It is currently close to 50,000 words long!! Please keep going with
your story, you have at least one reader keen for more (and I'll bet a lot
more readers too).
