I think the noisy plant article is a great idea!!!  Will you post a copy
when you are finished?

The rattlesnake grass that Maura mentioned is probably either Briza major
(0.5cm seed head) or Briza minor (0.2cm seed head).

The squirrels used to toss walnuts on our galvanized tin patio roof.
Especially on early weekend mornings (or so I thought!).  Great alarm clock.
