Just a small comment, you can make your weeds work for you and provide
useful mulch if you mow them over occasionally with a string trimmer and
let the mowings lie. If you do it carefully, you can keep them growing
and building up mulch for you all through the season, but at the same
time prevent them seeding (and all without any weedkillers at all!)
