Re: Phoenix, Arizona gardens/nurseries

Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Mesa outside of Phoenix is WONDERFUL

Mountain States Nursery is in the phoenix area, I know it is a wholesale
nursery, but I would guess that they also welcome retail folks. They have
a terrific inventory and I've been dying to visit there.

Desert Botanical Garden is supposed to be great as well.

Check out www.desertwindsnursery.com

And if you have a car and the time, take a side trip south to Organ Pipe
Cactus National Monument. It is a virtual jungle of cactus, unlike
anything you can imagine. Beautiful, green, lush, amazing and just a
couple of hours (1.5? 2?) from Phoenix.

Please report back on what you find!
