Hi Sue
Sorry, I forgot I was not writing to the Organic list!

1 litre (quart) water
1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
1 teaspoon cooking oil
A few drops of detergent (dish soap will do nicely) to disperse the oil.

Put undiluted into a sprayer and shake well just before use.
Spray to cover all mildew patches and repeat at weekly intervals if
necessary.

As with other sprays it is wise to try out on a leaf or two before
spraying entire plants. Soda is not often phytotoxic, but the oil may
damage some sensitive kinds. If the mix cannot be used the soda alone
can be successful, but oil enhances the action.

Whichever you use the effect will be enhanced if the mildew patches are
first vigorously hosed to wash off the powdery mass of spores from the
surface and allow the spray direct contact to the fungus mycelium on the
leaf surface.
