Hi Margaret
Yes to the first question, though it has always been known as Willy
here, as far as I know, from long before PC was in vogue.
As to your second question, I am afraid I must plead ignorance at
present. Though this and pedunculata varieties are wildly fashionable
here at present I haven't yet heard of it turning up in the bush. If it
was bother anywhere I would guess it would chose something like sea
cliffs, as damp temperate rainforest or equally damp montaine conditions
would surely not be to its liking. I will certainly keep my eyes and
ears open however.
