Dear Robin,
I have never seen Alyogyne hakeifolia in any nurseries, but when I did a search to find a picture, I discovered this website which has some wonderful photos of Alyogynes. http://www.malvaceae.info/Genera/Alyogyne/Alyogyne.html The gallery page has some beautiful pictures. I will have to keep my eyes open for other varieties of Alyogyne. I have my Alyogyne planted in a raised rock planter bed so hopefully it will like it there.
I am finally happy with my Chamelaudium uncinatum with its needle like leaves, it has almost recovered from its transplant and is now flowering. I love its wispy look, so if I had a hakeifolia I am sure I would like it too.
Thanks.
Linda
