Well, we've had the opposite problem - it's been too bloody hot to
move. An unusually early start to our 40+ weather this year (many grape
growers have reported 5-15% losses). Then an equally unseasonaly cool,
humid patch now in the "hot" times. It's only 30-something and
drizzling in a most english fashion.
The extra humidity coupled with recent mulching has actually upset one
of my Lavenders ( spica 'seal') Hope I can save it.
Everything else is loving the weather. The roses, salvia and calendulum
continue to bloom profusely. I've potted on some chrysanthaneums adn
will do some salvia o. if the humidity stays up and the wind down.
It's cool enough in the mornings to turn one's mind to bulbs - where to
plant them? when to put them in the fridge? (Frost? Ha!)
