Dear medit-planters,
Some time back two people asked me for spare Helleborus
corsicus/corsicus [Sue?] and I now have a bunch of these fresh seeds.
Its an extremely good type, when in flower visitors are always asking
if they may just have a few seeds.
Our hot spell is over for now or at least there is small rain falls
though it is still muggy. The growth has been enormous on the trees
and shrubs. Drastic methods called for and once more a promise to
myself to MAKE Kees plant further apart and for ME to not buy
another plant!!! Ha! Ha!
In my last letter i should have mentioned the Tigridia pavonia which
are in full bloom now. I don't know why more gardeners don't use
these Oh, so easy, corms. They never need shifting and they
certainly make summer end with a bang. I have only the bright
scarlet and call them the clowns of the stage in the never ending
drama of our gardens.
