Ooh! I'm full of ideas that will put other people to work!!!
I just had another one. I don't know how high a boar can jump
but why not create some elevated beds. I don't know if railroad ties
are available to you but you could build a vegetable bed, elevated
about a meter. If this wasn't enough a sturdy short fence could be
built around it (on top of it?). There are many gardeners over here
that make 4 foot square slightly elevated gardens with paths in
between. Perhaps you could locate a source of tree trunks!
I would probably be mean enough to drive some spikes into the
log, leaving a couple inches and then cut the heads off. A couple
bouts with these should discourage them without killing them. But you
would have to keep people away so they wouldn't get stabbed.
