Asterotrichion discolor

Courtesy of Bill Grant's intro., I received the following info. from
Rodger Elliot about my mystery Tasmanian plant, which was certainly
very useful for me and which I thought might be useful/tempting for at
least a few others on the list:

I'm glad to hear you're growing Tasmanian Currajong, not many other
people are. It occurs in the moist eucalypt forests and gullies in
southern Tas where it can grow in rocky sites. It can be anything from
3 - 10 metres tall and generally 2 - 4 m wide. The white flowers are
small, about 0.6 cm across and should appear during August and
November in your part of the world but change of hemispheres can do
funny things. Male and female flowers are usually on different
plants. The male flowers are more ornamental and have a lovely
delicate perfume. If you want to have a look at a nice illustration you
can do so in 'The Endemic Flora of Tasmania' Volume 4, page 240 by
Stones and Curtis, published by Ariel Press 1973.

Thanks to both Bill and Rodger for a characteristically generous bit
of horticultural networking!
