Julie, I have never been on your end - showing my garden - but I have been
a visitor to many lovely open gardens. From the prospect of a visitor, I
just want to add that I have always felt grateful to the owners for
opening their gardens so that others could enjoy them. Visiting gardens
widened my perspective (gosh, I never thought THAT plant was that nice; or
well, I can use that plant here in my garden after all). Reading Sean's
and Tom's comments reminds me that they put in a lot of work so that
others can see their gardens and take heart.
So, thanks to you all for giving others so much pleasure!
