C. vitalba is very common climbing high into trees in Seattle.
It is used in some Clematis hybrids, I believe. Just about anything crossed
with it that could take advantage of its floriferousness, and maybe get even
a little color and size into the sepals, could actually give rise to a very
nice plant. Hmmmm. I should play with this since it's all over the place
anyway.
