Re: Bermuda Grass


Bill, if the house comes with several lawns (and garden beds) filled with
bermuda you're stuck.  It's not like I went out and bought bermuda sod and
bermuda seeds and lived to regret it.

Besides, what's wrong with lawns?  They provide a soft space to walk on,
play on, throw parties on, etc.  We never give ours water or fertilizer.
It just is there.  All we do is mow it a couple times a month.

I agree with you though that lawns are overrated and over cared for in the
US at least.  I constantly see patches of lawn that are in places you can't
even walk on, let alone places where lawn is useful.  What's the point?
