Anyone growing these trees in USDA zones 9/10?

I was looking through a web site on south Florida
trees, and it got me to thinking of some trees that
are rated as hardy in USDA Zones 9/10, but that I have
never seen growing here in California. I was wondering
if they are being grown here, and if so, what are the
local conditions,(winter highs/lows and summer
highs/lows? Here is my list:

Bolusanthus speciosus/Tree Wisteria-from South Africa,
and was at one time being grown by San Marcos Growers,
but discontinued. Blooms in spring for 2 months.

Tabebuia caraiba(syn argentea)-from Paraguay/southern
Brazil, and very common in Miami. The tree is briefly
deciduous, and has silvery foliage and very showy
yellow blooms, and an interesting twisted and corky
bark and trunk.

Cassia fistula/Golden Shower Tree-native to
India/lower Himalaya foothills, and also blooms in the
spring with clear yellow flowers. I saw it growing in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so know that it will tolerate
some winter frost, but have never seen it growing in
California.

Dais cotinifolia/Pompom tree-native to South Africa,
summer blooming with pinkish mauve flowers. There is
one growing in Strybing Arboretum, but I've never seen
this in the trade. I was wondering if it is difficult
to propagate, or is there some other reason why it has
never become popular here?

Anyone growing any of these in California or other
Mediterranean climatic zones, and can offer advice?
