Echium serbicum?

We grew a beautiful Echium last year from seed we received as  Echium serbicum.   It  grew about 30" tall, was base branching ,with about 15" spikes of  lovely gentian blue flowers somewhat loosely held.  I cannot find it listed on the internet anywhere except for an old North Amercan Rock Garden Society seed list.  I did find two images of Echium auberianum   ( heres one http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://private.addcom.de/himstedt/kanaren/retamar.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dechium%2Bauberianum%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26sa%3DN  )  which seems to have the right form, but not (in these photos) the deeper color.  Has anyone ever heard of E. serbicum?      Thanks in advance !        Happy New Year !
