Another that may be of interest to folks is the brand new "Mediterranean Weeds"
discussion list set up by Sarah Brunel in France and Rod Randall in Australia to
discuss issues of weeds in Mediterranean climates (California,
western Australia, south Africa, Chile, and the Mediterranean). You can sign up
at http://www.ame-lr.org/meditweeds , and you'll need to know that US in French
is Etats Unis. Many of our invasive weeds originate in these regions, and some
of their weed problems originate here, so it makes sense to open communications
further between folks working on the problem from either end.
