Bear in mind that rosemary gets leggy. One way to minimize that is to prune back the new plants in the spring after initial flowering and allow vertical growth by degrees over several years so as to get a bushy growth. Even then it's difficult to keep the hedge from getting 'bare legs' over time. I just took out a hedge after 4 years for this reason
English rabbits don't eat rosemary or anything that highly scented but US rabbits may be a race apart.
