Most apricot trees require around 500 chilling hours.  Some more some less.  I doubt you get enough chill hours where you live to produce fruit.  The other problem is whether or not you have bees to pollinate it.  If you have lots of other plants the bees like better, they may go to those and not bother pollinating the apricot.  They love lavender, salvia,  and lots of other stuff more.
