I'm a bit late with my $0.02 on this one, but the key
may not be just chilling but that it's in a cool spot
in your yard. Apricots love heat in the summer as
well as winter chill. Think CA Central Valley. Some
of the best apricots I had were from the teaching
orchards at UC Davis when I was a student there. YUM!
I'd have to say the best in the world were from
Dubrovnik, Croatia in the market. Double YUM!
