Hi to all California gardeners!
We've been hearing dreadful news at the TV about the great fload there, and
I am very worried about you and your gardens. How are things going? I hope
your neighbourhood was spared. Are you in trouble?
Here, we're experiencing the wettest winter in the last 10 years or so.
Coldest, as well, in the North, with a lot of snow. It even snowed here in
Rome on Dec. 29, but it did not last and now the weather is sunny.
At home, I keep looking at my many grey leaved shrubs and I just hope that
they won't get too waterlogged. Will my drainage devices work, or will this
mud wave (clay soil + tons of rain) manage to kill them?
Let us know how you are faring.
Ciao,
Alessandra
