Re: California gardens floaded?

Yes, a good share of central and norther California either has been under
water, is under water, or probably soon will be under water. All in all,
not a good winter.

Here in the upper Berkeley 'flatlands', I am in an ideal location -- just
enough slope for the water to run off but not enough slope to worry about
mudslides, and well above any flood plain. My only problem has been a few
plant deaths due to fungi growing better than usual in the constantly wet
weather and soil.
