Medit Labiates

I am very fond of some of the various medit labiates / lamiaceae. Two
particular favourites are Lamium gargaricum and L.orvala. For those that
don't know it, L.gargaricum is a low-growing species, tolerant of dry
shade (at least in Devon, which admittedly never gets very dry) with
attractive soft pink flowers. L.orvala is more robust, reaching about
70cm, with glossy mid green leaves that look exactly like a stinging
nettle (Urtica dioica). It has large flesh-pink flowers in April and May
which are adored by the bumble bees. The stems are attractively
pinkish-tinted in my form. I have seen a white variety too.

Now, can anybody help me in identifying a Teucrium I collected on Malta a
couple of years ago? I raised them from seed last year and they have now
flowered. The foliage is dark green and the habit of the plant is very
similar to the wall germander Teucrium chamaedrys, but the flowers are
a creamy white with faint maroon stippling. Rather unusual, though I must
confess it isn't particularly spectacular. Is it an island subspecies?
