new welcome message for this group.

Hi folks - 

I would like to apologize to everyone for the omission of text regarding attachments in the Medit-Plants welcome message.  I thought that this text existed - I see today that it does not.  I have added the following text at the very start of the welcome message just in case anyone reading this message does not see it right away:

   Before moving into the main explaination and welcome to this group,
   let me first explain that this forum is 'text only'.  When you
   would like to share photos with other members, please mount your
   photos somewhere on the web and then provide links to them in the
   body of your message.  Some members of this forum have significant
   difficulty with attached photos.  If you have questions about this
   or are unsure how to comply, feel free to contact me directly.


Mario - I'd like to apologize to you for my part in 'setting you up' for this problem.

I've looked into the possibility of barring attachments from this form in the past and as I recall, there was a technical reason why this was not possible - hence we rely on everyone's good graces.  I am sure that all of us are sorry for any trouble that attachments on this forum have caused.

I would also like to publicly thank Diane Whitehead for her help in managing this forum.  Some of you hear form her from time to time - she deals with routine issues regarding rejected messages, e-mail address problems, subscribing problem, etc.  I (we) are very fortunate that she tirelessly watches after our group and jumps in when problems arise.
