Re: How much water on a Mediterranean hill?

If a hill was terraced so that the "steps" were no higher than a foot and the
hill slope was lessened ( never have i seen a home right at the exact foot of
a hill) would it be safe, even with extra fill ( since where would all the
soil go after terracing?) Anyhow just a thought!
