Trap 'em'!
Get the Black Hole Trap, one on each side of run.  In a few hours to a
few weeks, you will be goopher free.
I did not pay attention to the directions which said to move the trap
after one day if not successful.  I didn't, cause I knew they were
living under the holly tree. I had already eliminated 6 of the critters
in different parts of the garden and I knew there was one smart old guy
still alluding me.  I left the trap for two weeks and bingo,
grandpappy's gone.
The black hole is much easier than McCaby traps, which you have to bait
and appear so sinister, as well as the finger stabbing if the scissor
stabbers spring inadvertently .  So go, go, go, you will succeed.
