Hi Angela Lee
I see you have an excellent and detailed reply from Sean about shade
plants in general, but I just wanted to confirm Clivia is one of the few
plants which will not only indeed flower in the shade but prefers to.
In fact it is unhappy if exposed to the sun and will easily suffer from
leaf burn. It is also the ideal plant for a laissez faire garden as it
is a very good weed suppressor and requires virtually no tending.
