Hi Nan,
It was YOU who just told me that the Leucadendrons tend to grow tall
and narrow! After seeing a couple in Lavi Daniel's wonderful garden,
I planted L. 'Jester' last fall. And indeed it is growing up, but
narrow. It sure looks exotic with it's variegated foliage.

Any suggestions for a plant that will go into a container and get 5
to 6' tall but no more than 3' wide? Client didn't like the bamboo
I originally planted. I'm racking my brain for something "exotic"
that will fit that bill other than papyrus. The space is filled
with Carex tumicola which is very fine textured and I'm thinking
that papyrus will just blend in rather than create a nice textural
contrast.
Any ideas?
