Tim Logville's oily rubber plant

Thanks for the insight Dave. My Fatsia has been suffering the same fate as Tim's. I planted it in a very large container in some really good muck a couple of years ago . It sounds as though the roots have found the bottom . Should I start again but this time be realistic & plant it in the ground ?
