Rhagodia spinescens.......berries for U.S. birds?

I have a very odd question for U.S. Medit folks. Rhagodia spinescens (native
to Australia, common name "Thorned Saltbush") has a lot of uses in our medit
climate -- nice, grey-leaved, groundcover/drooping habit; a lover of hot, dry
sites, etc. My question is about the smallish deep pink berries it
produces...... Is there by any chance someone out there who is familiar
with this Oz odditiy who knows if these berries are appetizing to U.S. birds?

Sorry this is soooooo off-the-wall, but any feedback is appreciated!

Thanks, C. Carter CA/Z9
