Plenty of highly irregular bloom Down here too - purple leaved
prunus, winter honeysuckle, witch hazel, crab apples, mostly hard
wooded deciduous flowering shrubs and small trees, even tree
peonies have burst into new growth after late summer dormancy.
We had several weather fronts which brough heavy rains a few
weeks back. Could this have triggered unseasonal growth I wonder?
