I've noticed the same thing here. I was looking at some of the
Liquidambars, and some still have yet to drop some leaves. My Flowering
plum bloomed as it does each year (seems unaffected by the odd weather).
My Viburnum (Snowball flower type, i forget the latin), is starting to
bloom. The inflorescences are still green buds. My neighbors wisteria is
just beginning to bloom. The racemes are fully expanded, and it's showing
color. One of the sites right now is all the california poppies are off
and blooming. Surprisingly the neighborhood kids havent picked them at
all.
