[medit-plants] Re: Plant id for a friend

This plant is currently called Roldana petasitis (previously Senecio petasitis). I have this in my garden in the Oroville, CA area and previously in my Davis garden. It’s in full bloom right now and is attractive to bees. It will tolerate a lot of heat (we get temps well over 100F for extended periods during the summer) with only moderate amounts of water if given some shade from the hottest afternoon sun.
