In addition to the creeping and wooly thymes, I use Humboldt County
Fuchsia (Epilobium septentrionale, used to to Zauschneria s., what a
come down!), Yerba Buena (Satureja douglasii), and Wild Ginger (Asarum
caudatum), in decreasing order of sunshine to shade. Yerba buena can be
a bit tempermental. In Oakland, I also used Scutellaria siphocampyloides
to good effect, but a few miles away, in Alameda, I wasn;t able to get
it established.
