Re: loquat


Just a note on the coldhardiness of some loquats.
 Last year a neighbor gave us a 7 foot tall seeding that he recieved from a
15 foot tall plant grown downtown, in a very sheltered location. We are
about 15 miles east of the USDA zone 7 line, and maybe 40 miles south of
it. USDA zone 8 hugs the coast up through North Carolina and the very
southeastern tip of Virginia.
