CA freeze reports

>From a southeast US perspective, I am interested in hearing those freeze
damage reports from CA. Could you (All) please remember to post the minimum
temp's endured at your site as you post the lists of survivors and
casualties? Hearing about 12F at Inverness, CA, for instance is quite
instructive, although I am sure to have been there, "instructive" was not
the first descriptor which came to mind.....

CA may well be in for more so-called freak winters in the future, as the
proliferation of large hydropower dams in the northern hemisphere has
caused a weight shift, creating a wobble in our planet's rotation, which
was balanced out by a shifting of the axis. Net result: the North Pole has
actually shifted some 4 degrees towards western Canada, and yep, California
got "moved" north. When will we learn to treasure our system instead of
messing with it?
