Fwd: Gardens in Turkey?

Nancy,

Your friend might consider the Karaca Arboretum in Yalova, Turkey.  They publish a quarterly magazine with good information about the native flora.  Their address is Samanli Koy, no phone number.  Founded in 1980, has a rock garden, 17 horticultural staff.  It is south of Istanbul across the Sea of Marmara.  If she sees the arboretum, please ask for her opinion and description.
