Re: Trees in Coronado, San Diego


Don't know if this will help, but long ago I grew Tabebuia chrysotricha
in coastal Palos Verdes.  Although it grew well, it flowered only
sparcely and not every year.  Since the glory of the tree is its
February/March bloom before leaves,  I was disappointed.  The area I
lived in was subject to coastal fog in spring and cool summers.
