I never see it as a landscape plant in San Francisco
(minus summer rain, a Scilly Isles climate analog),
but I also think of it as perfectly hardy as an
outdoor bonsai. Being from Japan, it should tolerate
Gardenia or Cycas revoluta conditions at least. I'll
be interested in others' experiences.
