Re: Best Salvia

 After careful consideration of all the Salvias that I have experienced, I
would say my favorite is Salvia spathacea or Hummingbird Sage.  It is easy
to grow, it has one of the most pleasant aromas of the sages, and it does
indeed attract Hummingbirds (it makes a nice tea as well).  Though not as
refined as some of its cousins, it is perfect for the large scale
Mediterranean garden.
