I am trying to collect ‘stories' to help my family and a couple of
friends who are embarking on buying a villas in the sun. I have chosen
Umbria in Italy, friend have chosen France, Spain, Florida.

If I can collect lots, or just a few good ones, I will build a web
site, or a book, to hold the archive and show the stories to a wider
audience. After all the UK TV programmes show us there are a lot of
people who are interested in villas in the sun.

Stories about all the stages of finding, rebuilding and basking in a
villa. And through the years, villa owners tales from times past,
recent and current – ongoing. Family histories would be welcome."
